Any day now…
and we will have our first baby. Rachel is 4cm and almost fully effaced (I know way too much about this stuff). Rachel is doing great! She looks amazing (see below) and I am so proud to be going through this with her.
Our midwife (Rachel’s doctor is pregnant and will not be delivering our child) thinks induction may be an option next week as the baby is already -1 station (I told you I knew my stuff).

My Radio Debut
Last week I was interviewed by Barry & Barry of Real Estate Radio USA about the REtechSouth conference. We also covered how small brokerages are more equipped to compete with large brokerages by using web 2.0 technologies. We even discussed some blogging basics, discussed blogging ROI and I even managed to get in a D&D reference with my 20-sided die comment (I know my bro loved that one).

3.5 Weeks to Go
Rachel and I have packed our bags in preparation for a quick dash to the hospital. She learned Thursday that she is 3 centimeters dilated and we’re not sure how fast it will happen from here. Everyone wants to know if we “are ready” and I honestly don’t know. I think we are both excited, yet nervous. We are anxious, yet hesitant. We are prepared, yet completely unaware of what are getting into. I guess we’re like every other first-time parents.

Jott
I use this service to send myself reminders. I have Jott programmed on speed dial and then all I have to do is press ‘J’ and Jott ‘myself’ a message. Jott then transcribes the voice message into an email and sends it to my address. I now remember to do the task when I return to the office or check my email.
