Brad is the Managing Broker and Co-Owner of Maxsell Real Estate. He earned his Real Estate Salesperson license in 1997 and a Broker’s license in 2003. Brad is an Active Life Member of the Top Achievers Club in the Cherokee Association of Realtors. He also serves as the 2nd Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Cherokee Association of Realtors and the Chairman of the Commercial Council of Realtors. Brad is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, Northeast Georgia Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
In addition to his director’s position for the Cherokee Association of Realtors, Brad also serves as a Director for Security Bank of North Metro in Woodstock, GA. As a member of the Director’s Loan Committee, he advises the bank on local real estate market conditions and review loan requests for approval or denial. Security Bank is publicly traded on NASDAQ as SBKC.
Brad is also a real estate advisor for Guidepoint Global. Brad believes knowledge is power and is currently a candidate to become a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. While at KSU, Brad participated as an intern in a national competition for GMC and won National Champions for Advertising and Promotion.
Brad also believes the real estate industry is one of the last to truly embrace new technologies and he works to be at the forefront of these changes. Managing a small brokerage firm allows him the advantage to adapt quickly and bring new ideas and technologies to Maxsell clients at a faster pace than larger brokerages.
Brad has been blogging since 2005 and currently moderates blogs at Maxsell.net, Atlanta575RealEstate.com, and soon to be rolling out the region wide real estate blog for Metro Atlanta: AtlantaViewPoint.com
Brad considers himself a real estate entrepreneur with substantial experience in business planning, commercial sales, and online marketing. He places a high premium on providing pertinent information to clients and agents about the local real estate market. Brad is focused on reestablishing the real estate industry as a quality service with expertise and valuable insight.
He is particularly interested in growing company and agent presence through online and local networking. Brad loves real estate brokerage management and seeks to share knowledge about the convergence of technology, networking, and real estate to everyone.
Brad recently planned and coordinated the southeast’s first real estate technology conference focusing on web 2.0 tools such as blogging, seo, video, web widgets, wordpress plugins, listing syndication, and social networking.
