Rachel and I have packed our bags in preparation for a quick dash to the hospital. She learned Thursday that she is 3 centimeters dilated and we’re not sure how fast it will happen from here. Everyone wants to know if we “are ready” and I honestly don’t know. I think we are both excited, yet nervous. We are anxious, yet hesitant. We are prepared, yet completely unaware of what are getting into. I guess we’re like every other first-time parents.
Stay tuned for more updates.
There’s only so much you can be “ready” for. The real fun comes from enjoying the unexpected! 😉
We both love surprises! I can’t wait for the unexpected joys.

It will all just come naturally. I knew nothing walking into the hospital, and felt like a pro walking out. It was not because I knew that much, just because you instinctively know what needs to be done. Crazy sounding I know, but I have no real explanation for it.
There is only so much that you can be ready for and after that you just hold on and enjoy the ride, we’re going on our 15th year of rides, and it is definately an adventure. Be sure to take plenty of video. Good luck to the both of you.
